Welcome

Welcome to my Hawaiian Nurture blog.

My name is Anja. I am in my 40s. Have been married for nearly 20 years. Have two fabulous, nearly grown sons. My life has been full of different experiences but each one has built on the previous one creating a fuller, more complicated and lusher me.
I started studying movement art when my son's were still quite small and the physical exertion, artistic striving, yearning for perfection, revelling in beauty, gentle exploration of emotion and interhuman relationships became a fantastic and unexpected foundation for MIDWIFERY.
I love my work with women, accompanying journeys and developments, facilitating growth and change in relationships, opening up possibilities for new ideas, approaches to each individual family's unfolding.
Midwifery, especially during birth, is very intuitive, gentle, quiet, observant, empathic and this has been such an amazing foundation for my work as a HAWAIIAN MASSAGE THERAPIST.
Lomi Lomi is beautiful, breath taking, luscious, oceanic, transformative and unlike any other massage I have ever had.
It is such a joy to receive and such an immense pleasure to give.
My journey in the Hawaiian healing work is still in its infancy. I am learning every day.
This blog is my way of sharing a bit of this journey with you. Thank you for reading this far. I look forward to meeting you along the way.
